Thursday Night [ecclesiastes 4:9-12]

Hey everybody,

Hope you're having a night. Thanks for all of your compliments tonight. I just wanted to tell everyone that there is a guys flag football game tomorrow (Thursday) night at 6:30. Please come and watch if you can. Of course, we'll be eating at the union. Since the game is as 6:30 (it really is this week), I'm going to try to get to the Union around or maybe a little before 5:30.

Hope everyone has a great Thurs. Here's your verse for the week. I meant to say it tonight in Bible class, but forgot:

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Thursday [ephesians 4:11-13]

Hey there,

My esteemed colleague, Mister Corey Keen, has just informed me that the flag football game is at 7:30 (not 6:30). Hope you can come.

This week's verse(s):

“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
Ephesians 4:11-13

Union, Weekend [romans 8:28]

Howdy y'all,

I'm just emailing to remind you about supper in the Union at 5:47. Let's all get together and enjoy a meal prepared with love by the Union staff before we head to our Bible studies.

For anyone going to the Little Rock game this weekend, you're invited to my house for lunch this Saturday afternoon. We'll meet at the student center and try to leave by 9:30, have pizza at my place and then relax for an hour or two before we head to the game. Afterwards you can either caravan back up to Fayetteville with us or head to your place of lodging for the night. Let me know if you're going to be meeting us at the student center on Saturday morn so we know to wait for you.

I guess I'll go. Have a great day. I'm gonna leave ya with a Bible verse:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28

Mitch
